Energy and environmental management
Sustainability as a holistic approach
Since 2018, we have systematically invested in energy-efficient technologies and continuously optimized our production processes.
Sustainability in practice
Circular economy & recycling
Our injection-molded components are manufactured exclusively in Germany. Through short transport routes for raw materials and finished components, in-house energy generation, and certified waste management, we guarantee resource-saving production at the highest quality level.
Our recycling principles:
-
Pure-grade materials:
No mixing of different types of plastics -
Local cycles:
Short transport routes for materials -
Certified disposal:
Controlled waste management
Energy efficiency & innovation
Since 2018, we have relied on a modern energy concept with a photovoltaic system, an energy-efficient cooling system, and heat recovery. These investments pay off not only ecologically, but also economically.
Our energy measures:
-
Photovoltaic system:
In-house power generation from solar energy -
Heat recovery:
Utilization of process heat for heating -
Efficient machinery:
Modern ENGEL injection molding machines -
Electromobility:
Gradual electrification of the vehicle fleet -
Silo system:
Optimized material feed saves energy
Our environmental milestones
Installation of a modern energy concept with a photovoltaic system, an energy-efficient cooling system, and heat recovery.
Cooperation with the TU Dresden to develop biodegradable flame retardants and reinforcing fibers from feather waste.
Expansion of the material supply via a silo system for a significant increase in production efficiency.
Start of the electrification of the company vehicle fleet and introduction of digital systems for process optimization.
Expansion of the machinery park with three energy-efficient ENGEL injection molding machines for a more sustainable production.
Start of a research project with the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (FH Darmstadt) to develop a biodegradable lawnmower blade.
Objective of achieving complete CO₂ neutrality in the power supply by 2027.
